Parkinson’s Exercise Program

If you or someone you love has Parkinson’s disease, there is hope!

Exercise has been shows to make a big impact on helping people with Parkinson’s manage symptoms, improve strength and balance, and maintain coordination and acuity.   People with Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological disorders have also experienced significant benefits.

The Center holds Parkinson’s exercise classes four days a week:

Mondays & Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. and Tuesdays & Thursdays at 4:00 p.m. 

Through the support of $5000 from Cox Charities in 2016 and equipment donations from members, Parkinson’s exercise now includes boxing.

This programs is open to all adults age 18 and older with neurological disorders.  Fitness class fees apply for nonmembers. Call 712-323-5995 for more information.
